The guys at DadLabs are funny folks, except they kept asking me if I wanted to see their “Bunsen Bruners,” and, frankly, I’m not into that kinda stuff. Especially with a camera rolling and all.
But I did take them up on their offer to interview me along with fellow “dad authors” Ron Mattocks (Sugar Milk) and Danny Evans (Rage Against the Meshugenah). Ron and Danny are both incredible writers not to mention super-funny and extremely cool. Make sure you visit their sites and learn more about their books. And don’t be afraid to visit my book’s site. You can buy Tales from the Trips direct for only $9.00 — price good for a limited time — as well as on Amazon.
Now, here’s that interview.

cool and funy blog you have
Nice to put faces and motion to those we read. Nice interview.
That was nice. Thanks for helping to add some color to the black and white images in my head.
“Some comical ‘what am I doing?’ clueless daddy moments.” Some? Geez. Understatement of the year dude.
And heck yes the book is for anyone. Even us childless dudes can relate.
So, buy the book people. No, seriously, buy it.
Great interview! It’s nice seeing “live,” authors whose blogs I read. I’m sure your book would speak to all parents, and even non-parents.
I still think you could take Mattocks in a cage match.
I’m going to watch this video every morning, so that I start my days with a smile.
All three of you are funny
Ron’s got the whole, “I’m a pensive artist” thing going on. Danny is self deprecating and funny. You’re like “Hey, how the hell did this life happen to me?!” HAHAHAHA! Very good work from all of you. You all deserve major kudos for your passion and ability to put words to paper and then promote it successfully. I mean it — really good work, John.
Good interview from three funny guys.
